Earlier this year, FP2030 launched the Partnership Fund, a new funding mechanism designed with young people and other “nontraditional partners” in mind. The Partnership Fund is meant to capitalize on the expertise of local organizations that can use this funding to put their ideas into action in their own communities.
The Partnership Fund launched with a challenge open to several African countries, but we’re pleased to open the fund now to applicants in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, through a new challenge by the FP2030 LAC Hub.
This call for proposals from the LAC Hub is to promote the role of civil society, particularly adolescent and youth organizations, in accelerating the implementation of rights-based family planning policies and strategies. It also aims to advance the agenda of sexual and reproductive rights in the region. This call will select six knowledge translation products (actions, tools, activities, and other initiatives) that will receive up to $7,000 USD for development. The proposed knowledge products must be developed within six months, concluding in February 2025. Organizations applying must belong to and work in at least one of the following countries: Argentina, Honduras, Colombia, Guatemala, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Uruguay, Brazil, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Peru, and Jamaica.
If you are interested in applying for a grant, you must read the Terms and Conditions document, which outlines the general information about this call, the step-by-step application process, selection criteria, and the activity schedule.
This is a unique opportunity for youth organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean to play a crucial role in promoting sexual and reproductive rights and implementing rights-based family planning policies. Don’t miss this chance to make a significant impact in your community!
