World Vasectomy Day (WVD) trains vasectomy providers and health care teams, builds demand to increase public awareness and acceptance, and works with Ministries of Health and reproductive health organizations to improve the quality of care and accessibility.
WVD’s goal is to join all three pillars together to inspire a movement whose objectives include gender equity, responsible masculinity and a better planet for people, families, communities and countries. By including men as partners, as champions and activists, WVD’s commitment aligns with FP2030’s broader goal of ensuring that millions of more women, girls and people who can get pregnant have access to quality, voluntary and affordable family planning services by 2030.
