MSI is a non-profit organization, expert in Sexual Health and Reproductive Health, that works on the basis of Sexual Rights and Reproductive Rights. Our services focus on informed access, free choice, confidentiality and zero prejudice.

In 2023, MSI Bolivia provided access to safe and modern contraceptive methods to 104,591 people in Bolivia, of which 14% were people from rural areas, through our high-quality and warm services. By 2030, MSI Bolivia is committed to increasing by 20% the number of people who receive access to contraceptive methods through our programs, reaching 125,000 people throughout the country, including those from rural areas, on average per year.

Since 2022, MSI Bolivia has been promoting the Social and Advocacy Area, through which comprehensive sexuality education is provided to different populations, emphasizing adolescents and youth. In 2023, approximately four thousand people received specialized, secular, truthful and scientifically based information on sexuality, sexual health, reproductive health, masculinity, sexual and gender diversity, menstrual health, among others. By 2030, MSI Bolivia is committed to increasing by 5% annually the number of people who have access to quality comprehensive sexuality education, reaching approximately 28,600 people in 2030.

Currently, MSI Bolivia is part of a series of networks and articulations of civil society that fight for the protection and advancement of sexual rights and reproductive rights. Likewise, it works hand in hand with the Ministry of Health to ensure that sexual health and reproductive health services in the country meet the highest quality standards. By 2030, MSI Bolivia will work in collaboration with other organizations, the public sector and civil society to strengthen its interventions and maximize the impact of its programs. New strategic alliances will also be created for long-term sustainability and political advocacy in favor of inclusive and effective public policies that guarantee people’s decision and control over their own bodies, sexualities and reproduction.
