From May 7-9, 2024, over 70 faith leaders and actors from 13 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, along with representatives from the United States and Africa, gathered in Siem Reap, Cambodia, for a groundbreaking workshop. This event focused on fostering interfaith collaboration to advance FP2030 commitments. Participants from diverse religions, including Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam, engaged in discussions on promoting common goals, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative efforts to improve access to family planning services. The workshop emphasized the importance of education, policy advocacy, and youth engagement, resulting in actionable country-specific plans to enhance faith-based contributions to family planning initiatives across the region.
