The Organization of Africa Youth (OAY) is committed to advocating for adolescents and youth by promoting rights-based, youth-friendly health services in Kenya.
They aimed to reach 5,000 adolescents and youth, 1,000 frontline health service providers, and 500 religious and cultural leaders. OAY also sought to influence key policies, including the Kenya National Youth Policy, to address family planning and newborn care. Their commitment focused on grassroots advocacy, capacity building, and collaboration with the government to improve healthcare access and quality for young women and newborns by 2020.
